March 4, 1926 Chicago Bruins vs. Buffalo Bisons FIRST Year ABL American Basketball League pro program scorecard. The ABL started with the 1925-26 season and lasted until the 1945-46 season. The NBA did not start until 1949-50. This program/scorecard has the promoter's notes on the back which includes who he owed and for what! For example, he owed probable fellow promoter, Al Heerdt (an original Buffalo German player and Hall of Famer) a $400 guarantee! VERY RARE!
