What we have here is the football program from the September 24, 1948 contest that featured the Philadelphia Eagles at the Chicago Cardinals. The Eagles would lose this opening game 21-14 but go on to win these same Chicago Cardinals in the 1948 NFL Championship. I grade this program as excellent but there is a very small tear throughout the program. Attendance was low for this game.
