What we have here is the very colorful 1957 Topps Football Empty 1c Wax Display box. It is in very good condition and on one side has some tape (see photo). Still, a hard to find 1 cent example of this empty box. The 1 cent boxes are tougher to find than the 5 cent boxes. At one time, it could have held the rookie cards of Johnny Unitas, Bart Starr, and Paul Hornung! Sorry about the shadow from my camera.
