What we have here is a signed Warren Giles National League Spalding baseball with 25 signatures. They are all there: Jackie Robinson, Duke Snider, Don Newcombe, Pee Wee Reese, Chuck Dressen, Black, Cox, Bridges, Furillo, Rutherford, Podbielan, Erskine, Pfeister, Labine, Dick Williams, Schmitz, Van Cuyk, Abrams, Rube Walker, Bobby Morgan, Andy Pafko, Preacher Roe, and Phil ?. It appears to be signed by Roy Campanella, but the consignor, who got the ball himself, in person, as a child, remembers Don Newcombe signing for Roy Campanella. In the 1952 World Series the Dodgers faced the Yankees and lost four games to three.
