What we have here is a program to the college basketball doubleheader from March 3, 1949 that featured CCNY vs. Manhattan College and Long Island University vs. Muhlenberg at Madison Square Garden. This is just prior to the 1950-51 Point Shaving Scandal that involved CCNY and Long Island University, heavily. Many of the players in this game were involved including Sherman White, Eddie Gard, Irwin Dambrot, and others. Hall of Famer Nat Holman, who coached CCNY, claimed to know nothing about it.
